Hoshigaki
Available for a very limited time!
For many centuries, the Japanese have been making "hoshigaki" , or dried hachiya persimmons using a very careful, time consuming traditional method of peeling, hanging, and gently massaging the fruit for nearly a month until natural sugars coat the skin. This technique results in a true delicacy; sweet with sublte spices, chewy and tender.
